Poetry by default has neither mass media support nor mass following, unlike fiction literature or travelogues. Also, personally i feel poetry is being followed or studied by people with high intellectual levels and those who have enough time and resources to dedicate themselves for this.

I agree with you poetry requires lot of time in writing as well as reading .It requires lot of dedication and it is sometimes too difficult to understand as one line may have 100 meanings

Without the structured and mentored paths laid out by the conventional or existing religious leaders and scriptures, a layman can experience the true or abstract Spiritualism through creative literature like poetry. Spiritual Quotient of an individual, (without any impediments related to religion, demography, economic and social status) could be improved or developed or even matured through the means of experiencing a simple creative yet forceful arrangement of words in a poetically poignant and beautiful manner. This is independent of the fact that the individual may or may not be a poetry enthusiast or a keen poetry follower. |
