Possible solutions for KFA's existing issues:
1. KFA can look out for some joint ventures (like the way Spice Jet had investments from Sun Group - Leading media in south) from a different business where in they're ready to take some 10 to 15% stake in KFA.
2. Short term plan - to make employees work on hourly basis, so that they're not paid on a monthly salary. Basically who're working as support staffs can be put under this scheme, so whenever there is more traffic / flight scheduled we'll use more man power and less people during less flights.
3. Instead of operating to all the existing places, they can increase their frequency to metro towns where they will get considerable passengers{frequent fliers} from business circles. Once they're out of this scarce fund issue then they can look out for expansion to new destinations.I thought of 3 different solutions for KFA's current issues, addressing the money, efficientI thought of 3 different solutions for KFA's current issues, addressing the money, efficientjddfPossible solutions for cash strapped Kingfisher Airlines Kingfisher Airlines (KFA), that was launched in 2005 with much fanfare was termed as the “first full frills – true value carrier” and one word that people associated it with is dhdf

1. KFA can look out for some joint ventures (like the way Spice Jet had investments from Sun Group - Leading media in south) from a different business where in they're ready to take some 10 to 15% stake in KFA.
2. Efficient use of Human resource - Can employ support staffs on need for the hour basis (paid on numbers of hours worked) and not on monthly salary. They can be contract workers and not employees of KFA so that when number flights per day is more then we can use more support staff, and less during non traffic.
3. Keep the Brand Legacy - People always lookedup to KFA for better experience, try to continue by increasing the no. of flights to metros and other towns where the business class passengers are more, once they come out of fund flow issue, they can look out for expanding to more new destinations.

The business environment in India ia highly risky, due to the fact that the markets here run in 'market failure' or failed market mode. For example a flight from NYC to LA one need to pay around $250 a distance of 5000 km where as a flight from Kochi to New Delhi costs around Rs.15000 a distance of just 1500 km converted works out to $300. Does this manifest a well functioning business and commercial environment. Where lye the problem. It is the way we create and regulate markets here. No business is created to provide smooth transactions or functionality to citizen, durability or standard purpose of merchantability or functionality. Citizen consume out of compulsion not for welfare. So the environment for doing business gets risky and modern scientific management is difficult to practice.
So what happened to KFA is not a surprise, it is the general state of the paradigm shifts to more contraction on top of failed market mode state of the economy. No amount of solution will be complete unless we change our attitude towards how business environment should be created, evolve and sustain for long time.
