Let me start with a simple one - By keeping your web page size smaller. Look at Yahoo! And Google, these are some of the fastest loading pages, and most popular, people don’t like to wait and even if we have “cool” graphics and pictures. Web page's speed is important ,so that robots will be able to spider the web page faster and easier.

We mostly rely on other pages which are linked to our page in order to get indexed and it is true for all the
pages within our site too. Any new content should be easily reachable
through 1-3 pages of content. Linking back to the main home page, or a
storefront will help us get indexed faster and achieve a higher Page
Rank.
