These are two important attributes of a Slaes person!! Patience helps the huy strategise and go after his goal without missing the vital points. His head remains on his shoulders and he is all the time looking to get that much neede break through!1 Patience as a virtue will hekp him deal with all that!! Most of all he will bcause of his cool demeanor be respected by his clients as he will bemeasuring every word that he pseaks in the presence of his clients!!

Incessant drive will put the energy of a restless person in him. Combined with patience such a person is a deadly force to reckon with. His energies are always on the GO and his patience gives him the calm of a stealth bomber!! These qualities combined present a man who knows his nusiness and also knows HOW TO CONDUCT IT!!

Well Mr. Bhave I support with your idea as patience is the first formost thing fir a sales person to have as an quality cause it will help him in probing the best & more time the deal takes better relations develop between the buyer & seller

Ya true mr Bhave.but one very important thing is that the sales person should be knowledgeable enough to impress upon the buyer, along with that he/she must have abilty to show the buyer dreams.that realy works.

The most important attributes of sales person who is prospecting, and in particular cold calling, are optimism and resilience. One have to 
keep on believing that he will find a customer even after receiving endless rejections

When one is prospecting,the hit ratio of hot prospects to cold will be less.Hence perseverance is a must.The best way of learning sales is by prospecting.The colder the prospecting the better you learn.Perseverance is however a must.

Average sales person have a job. Successful sales person have an obsession. They eat, sleep, and drink sales. They never sell enough, never know enough, never try hard enough. They don’t see rejection and internal resistance as “just business”, because business is what they’re all about.

I have seen sales folks loosing their interest in calling the same company again who banged the phone the first time! I see this as a lost opportunity as I have successfully driven these companies to great deals in pursuing them again. Never get into prejudice, it could simply be a BAD TIMING!

A sales person’s job starts with responding to a Customer and with growing one to one interactions before a sale takes place, personalization assumes much importance. When the Customer finds the Salesperson responsive he is guided to make a choice. While perseverance helps the Salesperson convey assurance and guarantee, confidence conveys reliability.

Apart from perseverence and patience one should have lot of enthusiusm and zeal never letting down the spirits. I have personally come across numerous people who have often come to me to sell something and sounded apologtic and defeated for no fault of theirs or the product and at the same time quite a number of people came with the same products and created interest and initiation to buy them.
