Hiring the contractor who gives you the lowest bid..

As we know that cost is important, but it's not the only factor in hiring a contractor. We should hire those contractor with whom we can have confidence and feel comfortable with them ,not with that contractor who is just offering the lowest bid. what do you say guys? |

I'm agree with you M'am, because some time lowest one may not be capable or not willing to work srtictly as per specifications to get proffit.
I absolutely support your idea. Who would know better than IT people who have to listen to two things day in and day out.
1. That our rates (of a company) are several times higher than him (Some freelancer).
2. Once they have tasted the failure at the hands of the apparant low cost service provider, then we have to listen to the stories of their miseries.
The worst part is, when we narrate the same to the next prospective scape goat, he refuses to acknowledge. The cycle just keeps repeating.
