After long span of service life what a person demand an immediate Relief from day to day work pressure. Generally people love to lead a peaceful life. Hustle Bustle of life are no more appears to be an attractive. Rather calm and cool life are more desirable.
In such circumstances some coordination work ,some manegerial work , some social work may give some meaningful usage of time. It will keep the person healthier in mind and society will be benifitted more by such voluntary services of elderly persons.

Immediately after Graduation if someone dedicate their one year for some social cause it will be better for society as well as for the student. The meaning of education is not just for Money earning, dedication for the cause of society is also very Important. Felling for society feeling for neighbours is very much lagging now a days. Our life orientation are becoming more and more self centered. This is not teh indication of healthy social life |

I totally agree sir but it should not be by someone rather it should be for everyone who is citizen of India, there should be some kind of law in our constitution to devote one year for our country after graduation, because casual approach (I mean volunteer efforts) will not work here as nobody would like to serve when they are about to get a good job they dreamed for and nobody would like to leave it for others. If we make it mandatory for everyone it would be taken as a course of our education as we do like 12th after 10th and graduation after 12th.
The same approach is followed by Singaporean citizen they have to serve 2 years mandatory military service for their country after graduation and they have been doing it happily.
