It's our doings that are crashing over us now. And its us only who can help.

We debate a lot on this subject. How many of us are prepared to leave this concrete jungle to live in our own villages. Awareness will happen only when we stick to our basics. Our preference is urbanisation and colonisation - we are exactly following what Britishers have left this as a legacy. Like how we broke this global divide through information superhighway, we need to connect all the villages in the country, educate every citizen, provide him all the rights that is enshrined in our constitution, then you and I have no role to hound for protecting environment - leave at least 75% of the agri-zone as agri-zone only - don't convert them into Economic Zones. Make Economic Zones along the National Highways, and not to go deeper into every village. We have controlled Zamindari system, but people who have wealth are in the process of acquiring lands to the tune of 100-200 acres along the National Highways for future selling - tomorrow you will only see builders' skyscrappers all around, not plants or herbs or shrubs around, excepting a few mountains and perennial rivers around!

Include it in your daily routine & by watering your surrounding trees, you can be able to contribute much for mother earth.OR stop using A.C. cars . There are so many options, but the thing is that you should proactive.
