By ignoring the title tag, you may risk your site's SERP ranking. Don't have irrelevant words in the title tag which doesn't relate to the particular web page. So don't leave the title tag empty as most search engines generally display the content that we give in the title tag.

Yes title tag is important one.but adding description and keywards in meta tag are also very strong factor.Major SE like it.

We use same words repeatedly in title tag, body text etc artificially increase the site ranking, but never thought about the negative effect it has. When the search engines finds out we are spamming by repeating the same words they might even lower the ranks and sometimes it may ban the site which is spamming. So,don't spam your site with repeated keywords.
