One day, an unemployed son approached his father and asked for a short term, interest free loan of Rs.10,000/- with a promise that it will be returned day-after-tomorrow. The father wanted to know the reason and son replied "I am tired of asking you money whenever I need it. So I want to do some new business and earn Rs.1000/- to meet my requirements." Worried, the father enquired into the nature of business and how his son will be able to make Rs.1000/- on an investment of Rs.10,000/- in two days flat. His son refused to provide further details except that it will be repaid day after tomorrow. They discussed in detail for some more time with no fruitful results. Finally the father went into his room and returned with Rs.1000/- and gave it to his son. His son was shocked and asked "Dad, I asked you for Rs.10,000/- and you gave me only Rs.1000/- !!" The father replied coolly, "Beta, you earned your Rs.1000/- and I saved my Rs.9000/- Which is better.. Thank you Mr. Satish for making me a story writer...
