I stongly oppose levi of bouncing charges caused by down of banks network.

As the banking sector is growing up, all banks are connected to CBS system, but it is ovserved that all banks network is not functioning properly. Network connection disconnected for many hours daily. Last week Canara banks network was break down all over Delhi and his customers got a lot of difficulty to pay his/her EMI's cheques. A large number of customers have cheques for transfer/collection enven a very good of numbers of customers want deposit cash for clearance of EMI's cheques, But the failure of system, they were returned unpaid.
In these cases bounching charges levi is harasment of customers. All banks system fails and other bank levi bouncing charges. it is not a healthy banking. I think bank should decide that they can't charge bouncing charges if their system fails.

If the bank defualts any body cheque or instrument, one should claim the loss or damge with the bank. The bank has to be liable for the payment. |

Banks have moral responsibility to do the same without filing any suit.
