STREETS OF FEAR

Our streets have become streets of fear for several reasons. The situation is being created by a combination of destructive policies, willful neglect, hardly any traffic control, and a host of other issues. From fear of physical safety from the traffic to the fear of getting robbed or mugged - the possibilities are many. life goes on alright - but that hardly means that a mother whose child is away can breathe easy. Notwithstanding, it would be wrong to say that that nothing can be done. We can turn streets of fear into streets of fun. a lot can be done - let's put our heads together and suggest ways to improve.
