People addicted to internet such a way that once in a day they are visiting checking mails, blogging and many more. once started it last for more than 1hour sticking to it. More advantages simultaneously side effects too...

i my opinion 3G is most important in upcoming year because it has all feature lile internet , small pc in your pocket . we can do anythings like live watching tv, video calling ,and do fast internet through 3G sevice,

Wimax is also a “web” but with the great technology, every buddy knows that Internet is a technology which is useful in every where or no business can develop without it and so and so, so overall we won’t accept if there is no internet.

yes i belive that 3g  is going to be the most expected hit in the coming year. this technology is the ultimate for young generation. but upto what much of extent it will be popular, depends upon the cost.

3G is the technology to look for by the end of 2010. It has the potential to kickstart the proliferation of other related technologies like high speed internet, 3G enabled smart phones etc. Also the best thing is that it's on the Government's agenda.

Yes. This is the most important aspect that will make the mankind survive ultimately.

I have proposed green energy generation from tidal energy by constructing dike across Gulf of Kutch and Guldf of Cambay and other such places in the country. These along with Wind and Solar enery can compliment our energy needs to great extent.

I agree with you Abhishek, alternate sources of energy, technology regarding water conservation, new techniques in agriculture, I think such technologies will decide our future, we have to come across some basic issues first.

I completely agree. We were born into nature, so we should preserve it using our technology. Ethanol, electricity, windmills, water, algae, even compressed air- these are all things that can help the environment while advancing our own technology. The environment shouldn't suffer from our progress, it should benefit. And when nature benefits, we benefit.

I support the web and mobile idea

I agree with Badadare, in the recent days we have been almost addicted to these two technology. People have come to an extent that they cannot live without these two technologies. Almost everybody is aware and using this technologies.  

Even I feel difficult to survive without mobiles and web.

Smart Phone and Smart Devices are going to transform the way communicate, learn, interact and work. Smart Phones will enable  Anytime Anywhere communication. We can already see the trend - People are more interested in knowing your cell phone number and less interested in your email id.

Smart Phones are going to become smarter i guess in 2010.

smart phones should be the most eye catching technology in the coming 2010. one can need not required a PC or a laptop. All functions are easily be seen in smart phones. Though it is expensive but one can buy it who really need it.

i agree, in india we havent even started using all the above mentioned technologies to the max. Today we have Voip but only for international calls and govt wants to ban the same, we have 3G getting launched, We havent even seen IP TV - Work Under Progress and mancy such technologies which india has not fully capitalised on.

still in india in mountains , people communicate through traditional sources of communication ..

old ways  work even where there is no network..

and don't forget pigeons , parrots , et al.

To log on to Web/Internet, you need faster net connection and thats my biggest need/concern/demand/expectation.

Web(Content) and Internet(Connectivity) has to go hand in hand. One can't do w/o the other.

My six year old refuses to talk (on the phone) unless she can see the person on the other side. She doesn't understand that voice call is the normal mode and video call is the novelty. To her it seems absurd if she cannot see the face on the call.

Technology.  Was created and now enhanced  just to satisfy the need of the people.  So we know Technology has become a part in the way of life. Without it? What would  happen without it? It would give many people a depression as they all are well accustomed to use it.  And then they should try to learn the way we used to live in NON TECH world!!!

The more important thing is with no technology..  it will again many years for humans to learn the ways they had before. But why would technology vanish? Is there any possibility of it? Yeah there may be many.. but I would try to mention 1. If there is no sources of energy.. That’s right when all resources of energy go out of supply. And we just have to try from alternative resources… where supply is far less than demand.!! So before enjoying the technology we should remember that we should make a contribution to save the energy and try to improve the ways of alternative sources of energy.

cell phones are now a days one of the most important communicating thing, and day by day it rapidly engulfing the whole world. so next to generation its very difficult for any one to communicating without it.
