Being from bangalore, ill just tell you one thing if you have not eaten the hot masala dosa's from Vidyarthi bhavan in Gandhi bazaar, then you haven't eaten a proper dosa....they serve the best and they are the best in Bangalore for years. Its a small restaurant and its full always...Amazing taste....and nobody else can replicate these Dosa's anywhere, they have a secret ingredient and people throng this place like anything.....totally awesome,,,a complete paisa vasool...too good.. |

Kiran I tend to agree with you but there are numberless places in India where you can get excellent food at most affordable price.

As a person who travelled to various places in the country, I found many a place which caters to the taste buds of the customers. Each locality in a city will have its own special eatery, each city will have its own special eatery. one cannot compare with each other. At times i found very good food being served at roadside kiosks, where people of all walks of life throng forgetting their status in the society. |

I support this because every part & city have some famous places for some special food. So comparison of food is of no use so eat local best food when you are that place & satisfy your taste bud.

The breads of Gujarat, The samosa and Paratha of Punjab, Rajasthan, UP, the singaras of WB, the masala dosa, vada of TN, the Payas of Kerala, the pickles of Andhra......the list is endless. How do you rate them when each is unique!!! Dont waste your time rating them.....just go out there and eat and enjoy!! In good health, of course!! |

It is one of the Best in pune for its authentic hyderabadi food in pune which is rare in our city.Durvankur Dining hall For its veg thali.i reaally enjoyed the food at these places |

People coming to Chennai can try out these places which do not pinch the pocket too much. Veg : Adyar Ananda Bhavan, Murugan Idli Shop, Udipi Hotel at Parsan Complex, Sangeetas, Hot Chips, Saravana Bhavan, Ratna Cafe, etc., for good south Indian food. Mast Kalandhar & Shree Mittai for North Indian stuff.

Field is very exhaustive. We can not pin point one. There are graded hotels, mean to say Star hotels. Also , popular places like Narrullah, Venky's, Udupi's , Aryas, Saravanabhavan's etc. We can not be specific to this query.It depends on place/ purpose of visit. Need not to say, obviously, the pocket. |
