This is part one of the issue. Part two will follow. Here goes then... …Quite often some employees do come across situations where they would like to question organizational practices and values as they feel that some of them are counterproductive or wrong. They can end up in an uncomfortable dilemma. If they speak out openly they may attract retaliation. Remaining silent may lead to build up of resentment inside themselves. Is there any way to rock the boat without falling out of it ? May we have your ideas please.

A +ve  attitude of an individual blended with constructive outlook  will certainly lead him to correct conclusions.

This only shall land him at the right place by diffusing all short sighted dilemmas.

Adapt yourself

Sir, I seek your permission to add a quote. "Consider how hard it is to change yourself and you’ll understand what little chance you have in trying to change others. -Jacob M. Braude". The only way is to adapt oneself and develop sense of belonging.

Be a whistle blower to provide correct feedback

In the interest of organisation, the proactive organisation will have to seek suggestions from the employees periodically. It will be a good feedback for the organisation. If you are compromising for the fear of attracting retaliation, you are killing the organisation. It is responsibility of the every stake holder of the organisation. In the event that the organisation top management fail to act on the positive feedback, it is always better to leave the sinking boat.
