According to me not only 1D i.e.Dedication rather its 6 D's i.e. DUTY,DEVOTION,DEDICATION,DEDICATION,DEXTERITY & DECENTRALISATION makes a person successful.

While totally agreeing with the idea of Miss Gargi, I would like to add something to it. Experience, Expertise, hardwork, dedication,decision making ability and loyalty are some of the important qualities a CEO should have. How can the name makes a person CEO. Its ridiculous.

That's funny to know name makes a person CEO. If that’s the scene, is there a problem with my name "LIJIN”??? :) I can be a better CEO or CIO or part of any CXO’s . But I don’t want to be a CEO and just follow the roles and responsibilities; rather I would prefer to be a leader who drives to his passion and innovation which can motivate the team in a entrepreneurial way. Well the word CEO its self-talks about the leadership quality! In the past ages Leadership was about authority/ Power/Money and it’s changed as nobody liked to rule over an individual or a team with holding a stick. The age of our living is all about driving leadership with passion and innovation (One must full fill the quality of entrepreneur) which takes the team and business to new heights. Let me give you few examples: We all have across the earlier stages of CEO, when he steps in we are scared and then pretend to be a hard worker. But the scene is changed; the new CEO is leader who appreciates and finds you in a different angel and adopts the changes in organization wide, which he sees in visionary world. The best example is: mark zuckerberg (There are many to list, but one is sufficient). Does it make sense? |

It surely can't be just name....
But then, there r some invisible and may be, debateable issues of paranormal phenomenons that can possibly be supporting a person in his/her efforts and destiny....
Such issues cannot be discussed with intelligence or logic....
We surely do not like to believe them but.....lekin...kintu...parantu...!

Thanks,Gargi for referral.I have not come across such survey.Perhaps,the "name" means lineage.The lineage evokes interest and comparison.The people take notice of name.For instance,in India Gandhi does and in Britain royalty does.Similarly hierarchy generates interest.The people still believe in'gene value' . So the linked in survey fortifies the belief that people of any creed place theri" TRUST" on "KHANDAN" rather than on any thing else.They are rarity if they reach the pinnacle of their career as in case of Barak Obama. |

Surely it is the name in our country and you don't need any survey to prove this. Just look around and check out the names of CEO of firms small or big you will get the answer.

WITHOUT EXPERIENCE NOBODY CAN WORK AS CEO, ITS EXPERIENCE THAT SHOWS THE RIGHT WAY TO RUN A TIGHT SHIP. OF COURSE AS YOU SAID DEDICATION, SANS DEDICATION ITS A FARTHEST POINT TO HOLD SUCH A HIGH POSITION, AS SUCH POSITIONS ARE GIVEN TO THOSE WHO HAVE WORKED SINCERENLY IN AN ORGANIZATION. |

Well Gargi, this query has made me go nuts.As far as my mind can run and captivate, I can just say that coming to any mutual conclusion would be totally erroneous. Every successful person has his or her own unique ways to succeed. Its just something that clicks...to you or to me...whoever runs after success....Let us get ideas from everyone and not adhere to any yardstick....after all stagnancy kills and mobility succeeds....still I will go with whatever you say....
