Dipika I will ditto your argument. At the same time all in mind. There may be score of people feel happy with what ever they get but they may be worth more or even less.

Yes, Deepika, I agree with you. When you find your salary is not commensurate to the industry standard and the employees in analogous post with other competitors earn much higher than what you earn in spite of hard work you put in, your job satisfaction tend to decelerate!

The surest way of destroying job satisfaction is to be made a target of ridicule or scapegoat for everything that goes wrong. Or, if you are an assiduous worker, being overloaded with other people's work. The important things is the way you are treated in the office. You must feel a part of the team, a contributing member and recognised as one. Recognition in extremely important.

Well i support and agree with your idea Jayanti...One can never be satisfied with the paycheck he/she recieved. You can find different job responsibilities as per your expertise in each and every organization. What matter is the Recognition!! how well you are treated by the management of a specific company! and If you are happy with the way you are treated and respected...then definitely you can reach or achieve that salary satisfaction level soon.....no need to worry!!

Not only pay check but 2) Management internal office politics, 3) Excessive bossing from Management, 4) Office Environment and many others....

Things depend on internal & external factors. And if one primarily focuses on internal issues the prime reasons can be salary & communication.

The Salary is one word. But then variables and then bonuses & PF can really confuse a person.

Then if there is a Communication gap, one’s mind can easily gets distracted & tends to destroy job satisfaction.

Gautam, i agree on this not only the pay check, but also office polictis, excessive bossing, office environment, work enviroment etc... can be considered for destroying the job satisfaction....

As per me there could be multiple reasons for this. One is if role of a person is not good, second is monetary factor third is unhealthy relationship with manager/ peers.

MICRO MANAGEMENT

few of the younger generation will probably agree with me but i feel the greatest put off for me would be to work with someone who wants to micro manage, control, interfere, etc etc. (the term varies depending upon the degree of micro m). to me it is a display of lack of trust in my abilities. for me its hygiene !!
