Some tips: 1. Think big. A great rule is: from whole to the part, not part to whole. 2. Planning is very essential in achieving any targets. 3. Plan for the whole of your life. Think what you want to be 5,10,15,20,25,30 years from now. 4. Now consider what steps are necessary for achieving your goals. You may have many sub-goals, sub-sub-goals in overall objectives of your life. But all must be such as to contribute towards achieving the main goal. 5. Work whole-heartedly for achieving the goals. These may be revised upwards or downwards, depending on how much has been done, and prevailing circumstances. 6. If necessary, do not hesitate to take advise and help from senior relatives or friends who are able to and can guide you in confidence, without making fun of you.
7. Believe in yourself; have confidence in yourself. Most often, a person is capable of doing much more than he thinks he can. God and all cosmic forces work to help you, once you decide to do a thing, and sincerely work for that. Best of luck. |

I agree to both. As suggested by Mr Raju, in addition to the above, Honesty, Sincerity, prayers, and being true to oneself are essential to lead a bigger, bolder, richer(in values) and more fulfilling life.
This summarises everything. Just a couple of points to add. Meditate / pray. Be honest. You will not be required to avoid the other person's eyes if you are honest, sincere and true to yourself and others.

Own the responsibalities given to you and this will act as a fertliser in progress . If presentation of work done is nice you may accelerate your growth a little bit faster. But remember that while growing faster see the hurdels with open eyes or people will pull your leg to down you. |

Idealistically,yes, it will be each individuals goal in generic sense, it depends on the priority,understanding of life and the available opportunities and defined goals. Its not what you got that determines the outcome.it is what you do with what you got.

I agree with you, Mr Shirodkar.
But success never comes easy, except for very few lucky ones.
And each one has to set his own goals, depending on one's capacity, capability, resources, background, wants, desires etc. And then work hard towards them.
Borrowed goals are not helpful. And only setting goals does not help. It is merely a first step.

There is no easy route to answer this question considering the 'inevitabilities' and 'constraints' of human life. Resource, time, skill etc; are scarce commodity to acquire and put to good use.
If boldnes and bignes are virtuosities then rational processes followed can lead to that outcome.
If we consider this objective as events, then in nature events happen due to two factors, 1) luck and 2) constitutional inferiority. So first one you cannot plan it happens randomly unless one follow Machivellian dicta of machoistic behavior incorporated in ones daily life which can turn luck towards ones direction, then this behavior again is 'compulsive' in nature which is a psychic deviation and tantamount the second factor of constitutional inferiority, all of which can lead to physical rupture before the initiator of it attains his objective.
So taking feasible directions in life after careful analysis is the only way to lead to rational life which in itself is the most scientific route one can hope to follow so that one can achieve ones 'rational goals' and still maintain life.
