Improve education, health and infrastructure are the primary areas we have to focus on. If all the villages are connected properly, then other things will fall in place automatically. Youngsters migrated to metros and other cities from their respective villages should show the people a necessary path for development. NRIs settled abroad should plough money through trusted NGOs to develop their own villages.

Support this idea, but our GOVT. listening it? because they all are running for development of cities only.
as everything get developed again companies get established and all the rush gets started.so i pray god to hv same kind of feel villages possess shuld be there.even companies gets established.
hw much villges get developed or get sophisticated, but that "kind of feeling" such warmth feeling should be there i pray god.

1. India has agriculture based economy. Government should concentrate to reduce floods and drought. This will improve our grain production and creates more happy farmer base. Also reduces our dependency in purchasing food items from other countries. 2. India is known for its culture, ancient architecture and diversity. Hence second area should be tourism. Brand name of "Incredible India" need to be marketed. 3. Last but not least, India is also know for its intellectual people. Hence government should invest on infrastructure such as roads, electricity (preferably solar and wind) etc.. to bring more intellectual based work to India and ratify the brand image. |

India is a growing economy. And there are rapid changes taking place. if it is not managed in the right manner it will produce negative results.

The proper management of resources employed in the economy is one of the Key points need to be tackled very effectively. Lakhs of tonnes of foodgrains is spoiled by floods due to lack of warehouse facilitiies and also due to poor mangement of those. As there is no shortage of resources for development but due to poor management the efforts goes futile, we here need a proper policy to utilize the resources employed in the best way with lower cost & maximum benefits.

Despite of a huge progress in primary education sector in recent years, India still lacks hugely in number of Universities; both quality and quantity wise. Though the Right for Education has been made a Fundamental Rights under Eighty-Sixth Amendment in 2002, still the literacy rate is around 65%.This is much lower than the worldwide average. |

If u want to improve india's economic...... improve infrastructure like road, public transport, public places, electricity...... find new way of allotting contract so that only honest organisation do the work...... government had allotted lakhs of crore rupees for infrastructure and mark my word if 60% of that money go for actual work people can get to see new india......

With Telecom sector booming most of our mobile manufacturing happens in china due to low cost, Govt need to address this & encourage more manuf facilities here thus cashing in on the demand. we are design hub but for sustained eco growth we also need to be manufacturing hub.

India is having a great potential in rural areas in terms of consumers and businesses. Rural small scale industries can play a key role in development of the country.....if promoted in right manner.

As our country is a rural based- majority of population lives in rural areas, raw material for industries comes from rural areas etc. Basically our more or less whole system lies on the strengh of rural areas. By focusing on rural occupations and small industry, we can make a strong infrastructural base for the whole economy. A stable pricing policy & incentive for small scale production can give it a boost to cop with the odd circumstances.
|
|
Govt shud emphasize and boost to set up small scale industries in small cities and villages. This wud in turn lead to productivity in terms of manufacturing sector. India is rich in resources still imports a lot of goods from neighborin countries as well as far abroad. In trun to that due to manufacturin boom this gap will reduce and in turn it wud imrove the economy of india. On later stages of this one can expect to Export and earn revenue there boostin Growth. |

2011 is too short term/goal. Hence I am suggesting this Idea. If the central government can explore an augment atleast 11 more opportunities similar to 3G/BWA in any sectors, with a minimum revenue generation of 12 lakh crores (external debt of India), then we are a debt free country. One of the suggested method is to change the currency note format of the whole country, entailed with a brand new fiscal policy. This will force conversion of 100% black money into white. Justification -

The Government has already instituted various measures to boost the economy. These measures has already yielded results. The government is hopeful of achieving the targeted growth. Now the Government should focus more on reforms like the tax structures so that it will stimulate growth.

I completely agree with Shweta here. Besides that the Govt. should have a credible fiscal policy. This point should come only after we have attained governance improvement and created numerous job sectors to bring more people out of the poverty line. Fiscal policy should be adapted in form of “more credible medium term plan” as to reduce spending and/or increase government revenues. |

In India more than 700 million people depends on agriculture for their livelihood directly or indirectly, where as it is contributing only 17% of total GDP of the country. It means that on 300 million people are living on rest of 70% of the national income. there is hidden unemployment in agriculture sector we should decrease the burden on the sector by providing alternative source of income by investing in agro-based industries in rural areas. Government has to invest in basic infrastrucure required for the agriculture in the country to boost productivity of the sector which will also help in checking the food inflation in he country. when this inflation which is due to supply side is controlled investments will increase and FDI will also increase resulting in economic stability of Indian Economy.

It is necessary to keep control on corruption it's eating our growth. Strict control necessary on westing money without proper study of projects., keep control on Govt expensess, effective managment is prime for that, convert black money into white money, improve new ideas among the Govt agencies to save money, giving jobs & business facilities we can generate more money, currently India known as a service industry but it doesn,t create a much money for country so proper reserach, production is necessary, In Govt offcies there are westing of public money so managment is necesary.

I think improper use of funds & corruption hamper our economy. Most Govt projects get delay and it increase the cost of project, so we have to avoid this. Strict control must on corruption.

1. According to the 2001 census, 74% of India's population live in 638,365 villages. These figures tell us the importance of development of villages. Development is confined 26% of population living in Urban Areas.
2. The contribution of agriculture to GDP was at 32% in 1991, decreased to 20% by 2005-06. not because the contributions from sectors increased, but because of the neglect of this sector. The technology should be properly utilised in the Agriculture sector and its allied sector, since 58.4% india's population still dependent on agriculture.
3. Average literacy rate of India is 68% as per the latest NSSO survey. A person is being considered as literate, if he can able to put his signature. This definition has to be changed and literacy rate has to be improved immediately.
4. Casteless community has to be developed.
5. Regional imbalance has to be wiped out
6. Manufacturing sector further encouraged
7. Research and Development has to be given adequate encouragement
8. Infrastructural facilities have to be improved
9. Govt. intervention has to be limited to that of a facilitator
10. Corruption at all level shall be eliminated.
To do all the above, the political leadership shall have the commitment. I dont find any committed leader in our political parties. Let us hope for the best.
