We live in a very fragile world. The cycles that run in the nature are important for the survival & existence of all species & nature itself. But due to the selfish acts of human beings nature is undergoing many drastic changes.

To do anything we need understand the root cause for the changes. A strong & fullproof action plan is required to be framed & implemented.

So, what are the factors that are causing eco-system changes??

Population change

idea posted by Pragya Kothari Construction-Heavy, DLF

This includes population growth and migration. World population has doubled in the past forty years, reaching 12 billion in 2010, with most of the growth taking place in developing countries. However, at present some developing countries have very low rates of population growth, whereas some high income countries have high rates because of immigration.

At present human activities are the major factors for changing eco system. The water cycle, life cycle etc. changed and behave erratically. The sum total of life’s/living beings in different forms is a constant. Therefore, the explosion of population is at the cost of life of other living beings and that’s the reason that the thousands of spices extinct day by day from this world.

Lot of Population, every 10 months one baby for a single woman in rural areas, most of them not healthy and the vicious cycle that follows there after.

Lot of care, treatments and remedies for human being and not for rest of the life.

Lack of Education, borrowed ruling system, perticularly in India.

ALL LIVES ARE BEING FILED.

Mindless exploitation of earth

idea posted by Mohammad Bakhsh Consultant(Civil), Rail Vikas Nigam Limited

Madam Pragya ,eco-systrm will continue to be altering for mindlesss exploitation of earth. The sound economy, what we call is dependent on" MOTHER EARTH".If you happen to watch descovery channel, you will notice how animals and birds and other microbs are well supported by  eco system. The imbalances in the system is being created by humans. This is not only tentamount to suffocating  these creatures but even humans have also to evolve in another millinium for their survival.

Too much urbanization , very poor handling of agriculture lands ,competition for possesing more & more rural agriculture land for status building , poor handling of water resources, failure to understand balance of nature by feeding forest lands Versus industrialization ,continuous urge to make life more comfortable at the cost of Nature degradation .....list goes endless.

While i am not prepared to say "mindless", definitely not enough thought is being applied to the consequences of our actions on the environment.

A simple issue is the non-biodegardable plastic. We all know the problem. We talk of eliminating it. But to this minute, nothing has been done.

We need to start practicing what we preach before the damage becomes irreversible.

Little attention to the Ecosystem rehabilitation (repair)

idea posted by Dr. Satish.K. Sharma Project Manager

We are proposing new development project without foreseeing their adverse impact on environmental impact. Even if  Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) studies were done and Management plan are with the developmental Plan agencies  they are least bothered to implement them. The need of hour is to implement the management plan in sincere manner to protect our ecosystem for our future generations.

Now a days moral values are not given to the child by neither parents nor other elders. Now kids learn toget their job done by hook or crook. Those values are not taught to them but they gain it from the behaviour of parents and sorrounding enviourment .

Moral values are  most important factor.

To add to this is the sentisitivity towards the environment. Day by day we are losing our ability to observe and feel the surroundings. In the old times, despite non-availability of most of today's wonders of technologies, humans were better equipped with the tools to observe and find the connection. Doesn't it surprises us all how the ancient hindu saints/priets were able to discover so many things- be it ayurveda, martian art, astronony, surgery, etc.

I am sure the link is to be more sensitive to the environment and care for it. The ecosystem degradation is part of the overall impact this will be placing on the civilization.

OUR LOW KNOWLEDGE ABOUT THE BALANCES OF NATURAL ENVIRONMENT

idea posted by iram akram B.Sc student, Dr. M.P.S Memorial college of business studies, agra

I THINK BIGGEST PROBLEM BEHIND THIS IS LOW SOURCES OF KNOWLEDGE OBVIOUSLY HUMAN GREED TO BECOME RICH;WE ARE USING POLYTHENE BUT HOW MANY VILLAGERS AND ILLITERATE PEOPLE KNOW THAT ITS CANT BE DEGRADED;HOW MANY OF THEM KNOW THAT IF WE BURN IT;IT WILL ADD SOME EXTRA POISON IN OUR ENVIRONMENT...EVEN WE KNOWLEDGEABLE  PEOPLE CANT EVEN STOP THE USE....NEITHER COMPANIES STOP THERE PRODUCTION NOR WE CAN STOP THE USE.....ALTHOUGH WE KNOW WE SHOULD DO THIS!!

As we know, Nature can regerate. But the rate of exploitation is more than the rate of regeneration.

yes unwanted construction by using our natural resourses, we can see especially in gulf countries building high rise buildings and keeping most of the buildings vacant rather not using. like this we have to control the construction activities. Government should give licence only if all the flats are booked likewise

technology, the chief factor

idea posted by Dhanraj B N Team Leader -(Technical) RAK Ceramics
We have good technologies for environmental protection but the implementation is the problem due to high cost or irresponsible humans. The exploitation of earths resources are essential for developments and the survival of the growing population of the world. Humans and few species will be addicted to the climate or the environmental condition coming further in future.

LACK OF MORAL VALUES IN PEOPLE IS MAINLY RESPONSIBLE FOR ALL CHANGES IN ECOSYSTEM .FIRST OF ALL EVERY ONE HAS TO THINK OF UNIVERSE AND NOT OUR PERSONNEL BENIFIT.
