Power tends to corrupt, and absolute power corrupts absolutely.

It is not easy to define corruption. But in a narrow sense, corruption is mostly concerned with bribery and it takes several forms. Corruption is a global phenomenon and it is omnipresent. Corruption has progressively increased and is now rampant in our society.

So, how to eradicate corruption from Govt. offices??

Thanks for your support, Mr. Alok. The need of today is to chnge the system completely. And it can only be done when Aam Admi come road. And for this it is necessary to educate them and create awareness to them.

I strongly believe that a strong youth movement will help in removing corruption form govt. offices & indeed from the govt.
So, the youth of the nation should realise their duties & fight for the wrong.

Only then we will be able see some change...

ACOUNTABILITY OF BUREAUCRACY

idea posted by Sharad Tiwari G. M. Marketing, News Today

Make all the levels of bureaucracy accountable & their actions time bound. Maximization of e transactions, blocking loop holes in laws and deceleration of assets annually. More strong and useful & powerful RTI act.

The bureauctacy has designed a beautiful system wherein they head all the top posts take all the previliges.have the power but no accountability. This can happen only in India.Even when there is clear culpabillty of the bureaucracy by the CBI or CVC or other investigative agency. the  permission the procecute them is not given. What a system ?the people who decide who is to be procecuted are again bureaucrats as all the files again go to them. Lets hope time will change things.......

How are we going to do this? we find educated people involving themselves in corruption. Can u imagine an IAS officerCouple looting 300 crores? Doctor selling kidneys,Auditor guiding for black marketers.parents paying money to see his son get passed in the exams and alos for admission intoLKG. All teachers recruitment at government schools/ collages are made by back door .entry.Judiciary is fully corrupt start from the Chief justice. The senior most person in CVC itself is corrupt. Under these circumstances what can we expect?

Production of Space.

Most of the communities in the entire Indian sub-continent(such as Bengali) succumbed in ჵlture of Poverty'(Oscar Lewis), irrespective of cl-ass or economic strata, lives in pavement or apartment. Nobody is at all feel regret ed or ashamed of the deep-rooted corruption, decaying general quality of life, worst Politico-administrative system, weak mother language, continuous absorption of common social space (mental as well as physical, both). We are becoming fathers & mothers only by self-procreation, mindlessly & blindfold(supported by some lame excuses). Simply depriving their(the children) fundamental rights of a decent, caring society, fearless & dignified living. Do not ever look for any other positive alternative behaviour(values) to perform human way of parenthood, i.e. deliberately co-parenting children those are born out of ignorance, extreme poverty. It seems that all of us are being driven only by the very animal instinct. If the Bengali people ever be able to bring that genuine freedom (from vicious cycle of ᰯverty⩠in their own life/attitude, involve themselves in ᐲoduction of (social) Space⠨Henri Lefebvre), initiate a movement by heart, decent & dedicated Politics will definitely come up. The Root Cause of Corruption lies in the System itself.

idea posted by Chhedi Lal Gupta Executive Engineer, U.P. Irrigation

Corruption is a baby that is conceived by the Capitalist System and today it has grown up and feeds the Capitalist System. One can not imagine the removal of corrupion from the system. A claim to remove the corruption can only be a political slogan to befool the public and nothing else.

Corruption is like a cancer in the system and it has to be clearly diagnosed what is the root cause of corrution.

Think of a garden where different types of trees are there. Each tree takes its food as per its requirement. And each tree gives us fruits, flowers etc. as per its capacity. Can you think of a society constructed in such a way that each person works as per his/her capacity and all his/her neccessary requirements are gauranteed to be fulfilled? All have equal opportunity for education and medical facilities. A capitalist person will call it an UTOPIAN thought because he/she has some vested interest. But, Aam Admi will appreciate this thought.

So, what is your views my dear friend? Dont you think that the present system is cancerous and the whole system needs to be turned upside down?

Bring awareness amongst the people through mass communication

idea posted by Pradeep Saran Technical Expert
The vast majority is ignorant of the law and government procedures. When confronted with any government related issue they do not know how to get the work done and fall an easy prey to brokers who take money and join hands with corrupt govt officials to get the work done. A common example is in RTO and Passport offices where they take money but get work done only with all complete documents. With incorrect documents work is seldom carried out in Passport offices and very few cases in RTO. People should be educated through SMS, cinema, multimedia, Newspapers, in schools, colleges, etc specially in rural or backward areas. Once people become conscious of their rights and duties corruption will reduce in a large no. of daily activities. Once a person learns to resist corruption it will be applied to all spheres slowly but steadily. This will be a continuous process and cannot be achieved overnight.

Capital punishment for correption cases

idea posted by George Varghese Proprietor, Jecyees

The present Indian citizens have to approach the judiciary for his every right to live that included drinking water, fresh air, electricity and so on. I strongly believe our law should be amended to give capital punishment corruption cases and an amount of 100 times for the proven cases and such money to be spend for the improvement of education system.

Public should stop cooperation

idea posted by Biswajit Sarma Project Manager - Construction of Raddison 5 Star Hotel, DS Group
Corruption is a two way traffic, there is a giver and taker on this notorious system. One of the best way is that the "giver" should stop cooperation with the "taker" to make his work done. Contractors & Suppliers must stop to give commissions for their payments, Public must stop to pay bribes to the concerned authorities for power connection, driving licences, car registration etc. Transporters must stop to pay un-official road taxes and fines. The corrupt traders who motivates the govt officials should be punished through isolation from the society.

Rock steady policies

idea posted by Neelima Pandey PR & Media Relations Manager, Group M

Foolproof laws should be made so that there is no room for discretion for politicians and bureaucrats. The role of the politician should be minimized.

Application of the evolved policies should be left in the hands of independent commission or authority in each area of public interest. Decision of the commission or authority should be challengeable only in the courts.
