There are many benefits to living in a highrise building but the main is lowering the utility costs. Like heating and cooling costs are often considerably lower, if not included, due to the nature of the building's construction and make-up. Sometimes utilities such as basic cable, heat and even internet are included in the rent. And generally it is common for high rise residents to pay lower rates which are bulk-negotiated by the owner or management company. |

Pleasing view of the city,and if the Building is besides sea a pleasing sea side view and all the related benifits if the location of work place is nearby.
More advantage of high rise building is circulation of fresh air, reduce the noise, feel the ambiance of whole city or sea view , panoramic view of city.
yes you are right... For every aspects it would be the better and preferable idea to live in high rise building..

High rise buildings developed in Boundary walls, its like a community so we can have more social life, more security. As now a days population is a big problem and due to which living space for all is a big issue. so High rise building take less space and a number of people can have a living space on the same ground area. Due to High rise we can have more green area as more space left for green and other services. As with High rise buildings commercial complex , play areas are must so all facilities for family members within a compound is possible. Within a boundary wall onecan have club, kids play area, shopping complex etc. etc. Uninterrupted services like power backup , round the clock water etc. are add on features.

What Vinoth said is related to Big cities like DEL/MUM/BANG/CAL. only. Other parts of india doesn't need such structures. U can not comapre the feelings between VILA & Building. High rise building are good only for short stay. but to live permanantely at one place u dont need to hang out always in the air.lol

Its always safe and secure when you are in a high rise building. Many flats, many families, many people walking in and out at any time. But in todays generation every one may not prefer many tenants. More over water problem is a common factor in these high rise buildings. Living in a high rise building always gives not only good view , but also offers your house good ventilation and day light. This may be a postive factor in opting for high rise building. This also saves your energy consumption. From vaasthu point also, any house should recieve maximum day light and proper ventilation.... and Hence its cool!
