-Mentoring helps both the mentee and the mentor recognise their abilities and limitations, thus highlighting areas for future development. In addition the mentor or mentee may find themselves in a position where they are looking for a career change or new position. By developing contacts in other companies you can find out early if there is a vacancy that would suit you. |

Mentoring is a concept which promotes both sides. It enables rapid improvement in the maturity and confidence levels of the mentor.
It also helps the knowledge, skill leve, confidence and maturity of the mentee.
It helps the mentee reach a status where he in trn can become the mentor.

True mentoring comes when you look at others as your own extensions. To know others as expanded Self is ultimate wisdom. When this occurs, love, empathy, patience, service, encouragement etc naturally flow. In that consciousness, there is no room for the pride of teaching, but only a joy of loving and serving.
The mentee is to be encouraged to motivate oneself. Remember, all motivation is essentially self-motivation ; we can only inspire others to motivate themselves. The proverb is, you can take a horse to the well, you cannot make it drink. Yet, when the horse is aware of its thirst, it drinks. Mentees are helped by the mentor to be first aware of their higher needs such as self-esteem, self-actualization etc. and then enabled to nurture these at workplace and in personal life. Development of right perceptions and attitudes are most important here, and these in turn flow from right values and principles. It's a holistic self-development that includes self-awareness, self-discipline, self-motivation, and eventually, Self-realization.

Take day as it comes, who knows if there will be a tomorrow or not! |
Mam it might not make sense for highly qualified people but it does make sense for few who are still to reach that height. |
Tolerance is good sometimes but not always .. revenge is truly a sign of cowardice. Nice thought for the day sir ! |
