It may please be noted that the tradition methods of construction are based on sequential activities. Hence, heavly dependent on the previous activity that is required to be completed before starting a new activity.
1. The off site OR Factory made OR Pre-fabricated building components allow you to multiple activities simultaneously. Thus saving time extensively.
2. The production in the factoryis done at ground level, which allows a greater control over the quality of the product as compared to inconvenient heights & situations of site.
3. The pre-fabricated cannot be successful without planning in great details for which the project itself needs to be planned in details. The detailing in advance will always be cost saver.
The problem in India is of the acceptance of new methods/technology by the end user.
Many Modern Bridges,Industrial structures,Resedential Buildings etc are being constructed off site.this is a modern trend.This method definetly saves time & energy.This method of construction also reduces congestion at Construction sites.

One of the prime concern for any construction is maintaining quality. At offsite it is more achievable. And care should be taken to assemble at site. Planning is key for proper equilibrium between offsite & onsite. It is a boon. Intricate design members can be constructed will less pain.

Now a days small islands like malaysia & singapore following this off-site construction,Bcoz of contractual as well as time bound project ,if it is a time bound project design,planning,Architecture planned at starting time of project,but the major part of executing the project where the company gains money is come into consideration,so if we saves time automatically company is going to get more than 20% profit. |
