Green is the buzzword worldwide. Slowly but surely, nations are waking up to the imperativeness of initiating a Green movement within their countries. Corporates have also joined the bandwagon in an effort to the save the planet, as well as to save resources.By adopting green IT the use of hazardous materials will reduce, recyclability of defund or factory products/waste can be done.

Green IT and cloud computing are the buzz words. These things will change the years to come. Everyone of us should strive hard towards green IT to save our earth as well as mankind
We are contributing to the Global warming even with every Google search we perform. If simple search itself has such an effect, then imagine how much we are endangering our planet with IT (Big big mainframe computers and AC running continuously to keep them cool). Its about time we put a stop or at least try to take some action to curtail this. Adopting Greener IT in every day running of a company is a good thing. So I am up for this idea.
And big IT giants like IBM, Apple and many more have started taking steps towards this.
Rightly said by hari & vikash Green IT is the way to go...
I believe that there is no choice for Indian firms but to become green businesses. Some will do it as leaders and reap first mover advantage while others will follow the curve. The fundamental reasons for Indian firms to go green are: cost advantage, business opportunity, customer pressure, attracting talent....

A close look at evolution of mankind and modern world will show clearly that every technology that emerged had to do with new materials that were made available to mankind and a technolgy to manufacture a product using new material. According to the discovery of Graphine new materials has to be found out for the processing of materials and constructions which will evolved in future. So it may be the best among five
Technological progress of mankind has historically been benchmarked against the most prominent material in use (e.g. Stone age, bronze age, steel age and Silicon age). Tectonic shifts happen only when underlying material changes happen. These changes shape the technological era and have a ripple effect of the overall technological eco-system. In this regard,nanotechnology (the power to engineer materials with specific properties) will define the coming era. Also keep in mind that the age of each of the materials age is getting shorter and therefore nanotechnology era may be arriving sooner than later.

Energy Generation from Wind and Hydle will remain even after 1000 years. People will consume less energy for their utilities. New source of energy will get evolved. 500 years back nobody could dream that steam/Oil can pull a car/train. Similarly people will invent new ideas. |

At a Semptember conference in San Francisco, the technology and web 2.0 blog TechCrunch showcased 50 promissing technology start-ups - all looking for investors or in early stages of getting funding. The World Purely depends on Trading Sector and the Communication Sector. As per I Concern Telecom and Trading Domains are the most powerful Technolgies, where the business can survive. Yes I do agree with Virtual World too. Most of the powerful companies are interesting in Development of Virtual World like Second Life, GLive and other..If V.World starts with any Search Engine then no search engine can survive on the Web..We are working on this now... ;-) |

Did We understand Truly what has been in the past or what has been invented? Are Our Concepts about Technology are clear like we see the things with our eyes? Are We not running with terms without knowing the previous concept? The new Terms are introducing very rapidly can we say them new technology? Are We Not following the Myth? Lets Take One example of platform independency. Are We really implement this term in any language. I think no? We are still dependent on the mediator software for running program on different platform. and if we didn't find that we will be in trouble. Can we ever think after the evolution of term platform independent. that is it really possible to be platform independent or we are just done the whole phase of platform independency. i think not. The program itself should be capable of handling the different hardware without the need of any intermediate software to run. I think we need to analyze inside us to find out the techonology which will be the future. |

The trend to convert web application as nearly as possible as desk top application is on. The main hurdle is the network speed and stateless protocol, a request has to be made to keep the communication. But this is going to be changed within the same protocol as concepts may involve integrating a small proxy server inside the browser! itself, which can be directly contacted by the main server and keep the comuinication. This will make the browser based apps 100% desktop apps, rich with more functionality and speed. This will also cut down the cost as server can serve more. My hope is with mozilla prism and Chrome from Google. The web farm like Amazon Cloud Servers also take a leading role is providing a valuable resource with their revolutionary cloud computing.

Artificial photosynthesis is a renewable, carbon-neutral source of fuel, producing either hydrogen, or carbohydrates. This sets it apart from the other popular renewable energy sources — hydroelectric, solar photovoltaic, geothermal, and wind — which produce electricity directly, with no fuel intermediate. As such, artificial photosynthesis may become a very important source of fuel for transportation. Unlike biomass energy, it does not require arable land, and so it need not compete with the food supply. Since the light-independent phase of photosynthesis fixes carbon dioxide from the atmosphere, artificial photosynthesis may provide an economical mechanism for carbon sequestration, reducing the pool of CO2 in the atmosphere, and thus mitigating its effect on global warming. Specifically, net reduction of CO2 will occur when artificial photosynthesis is used to produce carbon-based fuel which is stored indefinitely. At the 15th meeting of the International Congress of Photosynthesis Research (ISPR) in Beijing 27 August 2010 a proposal was made for a macroscience Global Artificial Photosynthesis Project-seven models being presented for evaluation. An international conference on the subject is taking place in 2011 under the auspices of the UNESCO Natural Sciences Sector and subsequent meetings are planned. |

With the introduction of solar panel heaters and solar powered cars the day seems no far when we will be able to utilize what the nature gives us absolutely for free. There is a significant development in the past few years on the solar technology and the concept of solar powered train is ready and is about to launch in three to four years of time. By far this has been the most greenest source of energy where the pollution level is an absolute zero.

I think that this is one of the technology of the future and it will take the world by storm.Small (AA battery sized) devices called motes combine a processor, memory, and sensors to monitor their local environment, and have just enough radio power to transmit snippets of data to nearby motes to pass along to other motes, thereby creating a self-organizing network. Applications include traffic, buildings, and ecosystems.This will definitely make an impact in the future. |
