It pays to learn how to write good advertisements. Separate the ad into parts and work on each part individually. Probably the most important part of the ad, is the Headline. Is your headline catchy? Does it create interest? Experiment with different headlines and see which works best for you. Absolutely good ad content is must. In general a retailers push and consumers pull also makes a product an ideal product but at the same time a good ad is must in order to create the consumers satisfaction along with his/her family that what I have bought is the best and that further creates word of mouth publicity.
Well, Ms. Sunita Ad helps and there is no doubt about it. But I feel better to know who are the customers for the products and they can be contacted directly by the sales team with product profiles and catalogs. Then the products need approvals from the project consultants, engineers, and in case of govt projects the approval should be secured from the different approving authorities. When we talk about product promotion, the basic thing will be the approval in the project specifications in order to use the particular products. Hence the base should be created to sell the products and then comes the sales promotional activities like ad etc.
Right product,right price,right quality,right segment.
Target marketing is the obvious way to promote a product into the market.
I agree to Mr.Atul, no matter what profession you are into approaching right customer at right time is more important.....

Giving an ad with so many promises and not backing up with the delivery of what is promised will result in bad image. Market Research is also required whether there are any other product is also promising similar things, whether they are delivering what they are promising before coming out with an ad full of promises |

One can go for a direct marketing type of promotion where the cost is less & is more effective.....Moreover one can reach out the audience without using traditional formal channels of advertising, such as TV, newspapers or radio. Businesses communicate straight to the consumer with advertising techniques such as fliers, catalogue distribution, promotional letters, and street advertising. |

The direct access to customers is the best route. In this process one should also understand the customers requirements and try something innovative.
Coromandel International,a fertiliser company has adopted a succeful marketing strategy...........They go to every farmer,take samples of the soil,test the same and sell only chemicals(fertilisers) what is required to balance and strengthen the soil. This has been well received by the farmers and their sales have gone up.

The average consumer is bombarded on a daily basis by repetitive and sometimes annoying ads and marketing materials. Be it on television, in printed media or any other form of ads/marketing, it has to stimulate the consumer to a "buy decision" Fresh content and "out of the box" marketing concepts and ad campaigns can make a big difference.

I agree with Mr. Vincent. Customer Participation marketing, direct-door-to-door persuasive marketing is the call for the day! Long gone are the days when mass media worked! An average, educated individual is bombarded with more than 3000 ads per day according to a survey! 1% of them is actually seen with interest. Action taken is less than 0.1%. Consumers/ customers/ clients/ prospects/ leads/ contacts are all fed up with so much data being shot at them! "Entertainment by innovation" is the key! Well said Mr. Churchill!
