Victim of cyber crime? No doubt, the security landscape has significantly changed as financially motivated criminals create malware, infiltrate systems and steal valuable data and assets. But as security threats grow in size, scope and sophistication, so do the opportunities for channel partners to help businesses secure their networks and reduce the risk of attack.

No doubt viruses are the threats for now and it will be in future too.but social engineering is a great risk too.And for now using 3G will be the biggest challenge for the administrators to take over.And to update our knowledge according to the new technologies.

Data being a business's most important asset and cyber criminals know it and what I feel is that the cyber criminals will increasingly refine their attacks to get at the heart of a businesses' data center and Financial data such as Social Security numbers, credit card and bank account information.

Social Networking threat

As more applications migrate to Web 2.0, so will the security threats. Users can expect to see more attacks on social networking sites.Attackers may also find more ways to inject legitimate, high trafficked Web sites with malicious code that installs malware onto users' computers or redirect traffic to another site.I am sure they will penetrate into this...

organized cyber crime

Cybercrime is becoming more organized nowadays. Like technology specialists, new breed of threat specialists are growing like Spamming experts, Virus writers and Hacking specialists

 

Good example is confetti/Downadup virus which attacked millions of computers. It employed exploiting vulnerability which was already patched by microsoft then grown into more ways of attack like spreading through USB drives, Botnet attack and more.
