Try cross-selling items by suggesting complementary products with each item's description. This is a great way to introduce new or less popular items. For example, include a selection of kitchen utensils on the page featuring a popular pots and pans set. Up selling is the practice of suggesting a higher priced item when the buyer is considering their purchase. Be careful not to annoy the potential buyer with pop-up ads or a link that takes them away from the original item. Instead, highlight the more expensive item as an option of better value and higher quality. |

First The people should be made to understand the advantage of E-commerece and also the security. Since Many people still below the Poverty line it may take some time for the E-commerce trade to reach the common man. But it is possible. The Main Challenge would be to make people aware abt its advantages and taking them into confidence.

In my opinion for e-commerce to grow in India needs to win customer’s trust and offer a clear value proposition to the customer. A clear value to consumers and a strong promise around quality execution are the two very important things that can attract buyers. |

My belief is that the e-commerce adoption will continue to grow at slow pace until more mature players enter the market or until some of the existing players significantly rethink their value proposition and operations. Some of the existing online retailers have already started thinking in this dimension, and I would bet that in the next few years the landscape will change.

Consumer is the most powerful link to this chain. Unless and until the whole idea and concept strikes to him, no initiative or drive by any big corporate can be 'steered' |

The reach of modern infrastructure, internet, roads, people to all urban and rural area plays a vital role in ecommerce growth. When Internet is available in all villages, people will be more aware about the alternative products and it will be in their reach by good transportation means. India can do a lot better than what it is delivery with improved infrastructure across country. |

People are ready to go for ecommerce services if they can trust on the technology. In India still people think that buying via online would be fake. Also people really hesitate to pay first and wait for delivery of the unseen product. But Pay at Delivery system has also flopped in India. All we can do is to build trust among customers by doing a qualiy service.
