This issue arises when there is a mismatch b/w supply & demand. Thus due to a mismatch pressure on resources increases drastically there by sustainability couldn't be achieved... |

Producing more than demand, mean more consumption of resources like electricity,water,fuel etc. This further lead to water pollution,air pollution & ultimately reflact in to cost. In short it is waste. Most of the manufaturing industries are now adopting this Just In Time concept. This is well addressed in Six-Sigma concept

well for the sustainable production the material available may not be the that much effective on enviornment.it must have eco friendly in nature. and the another reason is the quality of that material. |

Most of the companies try to match the demand and supply to customers first rather than Quality at second consideration. But when problem arises everyone getting struggled to overcome from it missing both Supply and a good name from customer.

A manufacturer should be in a position to add greater utilization value to the production. Also make the product customer friendly.The product should be such that met the exact needs of the buyer.
