I think in our country UV band level is far higher than Europian country , as reinforced Upvc door window manufacturers follows BN ES for their quality standard It may happen after some year material get brittle. Please give remark |

Mr. Uttal. This is a very generalised sentence & at the same time a very common doubt. To avoid such problem , one has to make sure that the uPVC profile has sufficient % if anti-uv additives ( TiO2 ) and also make sure that the fillers ( Like calcium ) are below a certain limit ( around 15 % ). Hence, choosing the profile for Indian conditions is a very important issue, if you want the windows to last for 15-20 years without any problem.

It is non-degradable, flammable also. Moreover it is recyclable. But , the cost of recycling is high.So they do not do it.
