I think in companies there should be a separate group for branding alone. These group should be dedicated to branding. This group should contain masters in branding and as they know more about the subject it would be easy for them to build a attractive brand image for the company concerned. They can work on branding without disturbing other departments. |

THIS CAN BE ONE WAY .
Unlike the society has different people for different works, any organization big or small needs to have a different brand deptt and it has for a better prductivity and focussed job performance.Brand spells the quality, customer relationship and assists the advertisement may be also through word of mouth.

If any company wants to create top brand then I think they have to create something different i.e. value differentiation, apart from normal things like pay package, employee satisfaction, ethical environment, open culture etc. Take the example of Google. Google has created altogether different environment where employee can wear anything, plantation were made near seating arrangements, people can seat on floor and work etc. Google provides a flexible working environment with perks that are designed to make life easier and more convenient for employees to manage their life-work balance. |

Employees will naturally advertise about the employer if the working Environment/welfare and Client/customer relationship Standards are kept up and is functional in a professional way. The Branding of the company will naturally come from Inside and Outside If the above is kept up No need for Artificial HYPE It will not last long.

Apart from building a brand group i think the best way to build up Employer brand is to have podcast of currently working employees. Employees should describe about their experience in their company. People will listen more, words of the employees working rather than getting news from some where else. They would be more interested to get information from them. |

The companies should come out with a clear thought on what image they would like the employees, and the talent which they are trying to attract should get of them. Then a mixn Match of current and old Employees should project the idea, either using the blogs, websitee or mas Media, to get the mesage across.

In order to assess the employer's brand , there are certain parameters which could be examined to measure the trend through index related to high internal customer (employee) satisfaction, low employee attrition, growth in employee referrals, zero / minor gap between new joining v/s offers issued and growth in rehiring. Employer need to strike balance between its corporate values, business objectives, social responsibility and overall approach towards its people. Hence change / initiative / vision is expected from top to realize the goal of employer's brand. |

What gist I could make out from my experience in this regard could be explained as every employer, big or small, must have more and more emphasis and essence on employee recognition instead of promotion,incentive, increment etc. This way one gets much more motivated than the other means of employee motivation. After all these processes are for employee motivation, better efficiency and productivity as every organization has a motto of aquiring more and more market shares and revenue. Lets think in the same direction please. |

How can a person go about creating his own Brand Value? The first step is to assess Your Own Brand Value by asking yourself 'If I am not around, will I be missed'.
(a)If the answer is yes, then you need to further enhance your Brand Value.

Branding basically means the 1. creating Image in the Mind of Consumer about the product 2. making a Differentiable point of product visa a vis competitors.... 3. Sometimes Brand also replaces the product e.g. Hardly people calls Toothpaste normally they called Closeup or Coalgate etc.... Branding Strategies: 1. So as to create Brand of a product one shud focus on STP ( Segementation, Targeting & Positioning) about the customer group... 2. After selecting particular customer group, so as to create the brand there shud be product differentiation from other brands in same category... the differentiation factors shud be build on.... 3. After Building differentiating factors one shud give core importance for making customers aware of product, use, differentiating factors from others.... awareness can be created thru mass advertisements, Publicity etc... 4. After awareness one shud focus on making products available at rite point of use with rite price. perfect promotional strategies will act as catalyst for creating BRAND. 5. Once got correct response for the brand acceptance... one shud focus again on Publicity with correct figures and bring result to the notice of the customers... 6. Going Geographically wide also acts as adding flavors to the process of branding... This what I feel about creating brand of a product....

A company employee public forum should be created whereby anyone can have a look at the views of the specific company employee's experience with the concerned employer. A specific website must be created by any trade assocition like CII or FICCI where the list of all the companies and their employee forum are visible to all the viewers who visit this site. It becomes easier for an employee to know how his future employer would be. |
