The construction Project collaboration underlines the fact that it is only vested interest which drives the collaborating parties to come together. The other things, profit, image, divers experience precedes the CPC. |

Work culture plays an important role in bringing out an effective collaboration. Companies should try to to understand each others culture & nature of working before getting into an collaboration. It is seen that the companies that have a close understanding of each others culture have a better & long term collaboration. |

Yes work culture plays a vital role in collaboration. I support for this.
Interest, more than culture, plays an important role.Culture may be similar, but no one shall collaborate unless there is very profitable interests.... Is'nt it??

Most collaborations fail because of the differences in the thinking & working styles of the company. Companies fail to understand the strengths lying in their collaboration thereby start pointing each other for small mistakes. These small issues shows the lack of flexibility of one company to deal with other companies. |

specifically for construction industry these is not significient because of things are chaning on daily basis and tuning with them is very difficult at project levels.
|
|
there are various factors which affect the collaborations, of construction projects, few of them listed below as per my opinion,
1-loo poles in detailed project report
2-defect in market survey,
3-companies must not be able to assure the benefits fo main finance comapny
4-collaborations are basically based on the how much growth that both companies can get during the collaboration period
5- same kind on projects no different ideas
6- one company doesn't have a proper system to mange the project
7- last failure records
8- time delay to completion of project
9- weaker sales strategy

Companies fail to predict what good can come up eith collaborations, but do surely keep in minds what would be interests ofeach of them. They should be aware unless they collaborate, they wont even get to the sharing of project. |

Dear Sir, This is the issue faced by many of us. You especially have an issue of untrustworthy people in your business. Its human nature to cheat in the absence of their subordinates. Don't employ a lot of supervisors...as it will create a mess. Have... |
I agree with you Sir. Time is running bad for many companies it seems. But I hope that things will change soon. |
