With Windows 7, a few new shortcutkeys are added to the list: {W} stands for the windows-key {W}+P - select monitor-configuration
Fun stuff like 'grab the window and shake it to scare all other windows away' and dragging the window to the top or side to maximize/half-screen the window are easy to grow accustomed to. I catch myself dragging windows to the top of the screen in Vista/XP, only to find out that I still have to use the maximize-button there. |

I liked the new way of controlling the system tray. The new controls prevent the System Tray from overflowing with unwanted apps and distracting you with unhelpful, irrelevant messages. |

I like the new feature Jump List which is very convenient. This context-sensitive Taskbar menus let you start accomplishing things in applications before you even open them. |

Other OS like Linux (ubuntu) are very much restrictive against viruses. Unfortunately no Windows has so much resistance against viruses still now. Windows should work on that. They are also very fast in downloading as compared to Windows and need very less configuration. Windows should implement all these features in Windows 7 |

Getting rid of the quick-launch bar and combine the functionality in the taskbar is one of the top features. Easy to see which applications are started and you are able to open the application without accessing the start-menu. I hardly ever use the startmenu any more. |
