Recently i read that The Clinton Climate Initiative (CCI), a programme of US-based William J Clinton Foundation, has announced setting up of theworld’s largest solar power plant in Gujarat with an estimated investment of Rs 50,000 crore likely to flow into the state over the next five years. The proposed 3,000MW plant, one of the four being set up by CCI across the globe, promises to make Gujarat the solar power hub of India. |

I support all the renewable resorce ideas, because the statistics of GDP rate of INDIA is restricted to 7% growth due to lack of power. Another information is that the power backup such as UPS, battery backups produces CO2, CO,.. This pollutants paves the way for ozone layer depleation. As of we are spending nearly 20,000crores a year for power backup resources,. Thus it restricted the GDP rate to 6% of growth of INDIA for the previous year. Thus makes the huge difference between INDIA & CHINA,.. so I really welcome those ideas,..

Moser Baer India, with business interest in optical storage media, is developing a 1 MW solar power project in Chandrapur district. When completed, it will be one of the largest solar projects in the world using the latest thin film technology.Thin films improve the efficiency with which solar cells convert sunlight into electricity. |

I hv seen this kind of technology being tested in primitive stage, by one manufacturer in Tamilnadu, trying to capture the sun energy through this film and concentrated on a miniature cell, and producing approx 330wh of energy with 2.6V approx. Some combination put together gives high energy and power availability and efficiency of sun energy conversion is more than 33% compared to prsent technology of captuirng through photovoltaic cell where the efficiency is mere 16% . i wish govt to give more infrastructural package support to suchh project as somebody claimed that if we are able to harness the solar energy efficiengy to level of 44%, India do not need any other source of power.

The Ministry formulated a concept of providing "energy security" in villages through biomass and other renewable energy sources. 24 test projects on Village Energy Security have been sanctioned during the year. Employment opportunities for about 25 persons per village are expected. On the basis of the outcome of the test projects, a full-fledged program covering remote villages/hamlets may be formulated. |

GOVT Of India should boost the projects as well as take the leadership of all projects and ideas of energy conservation for the well beign of the common people as well as future of INDIA |

Wind energy has still remained untapped in several parts of the world. Inspite of the awareness about its benefits of no pollution, easy availability etc. we see very small number of wind mills in comparision to the thermal power ststions etc. In India where specifically coastal areas, mountain areas are blessed with constant winds it must be ensured by the government to set up wind mills which can be helpful in sevsral ways.

our next project should have to be making such a device which can easily work for 24 hrs and 366 days with loosing any thing which can be environment friendly means no atmosphere and climate condition can stop that device to work for us this device should have to work for us in our daily life in each & every step & moment |

Power consumption increases in summer and then we see power crisis. Every time there is power cut we curse govt and wish to have private power connection. Ahmedabad in Gujarat already gets private power suly through Torrent. Should same thing can... |
What is happening is good and a little more safety concerns will make things easy. Why to introduce other distracting factors here? |
We cannot live with power cuts though there is a lot we need to do. Nuclear power is the answer and till when we do not develop an alternative to this we just cannot help it. |
