Traditionally Sugar & Gold has been ingrained into Indian Culture. These Two have place in our Culture since ancient times.
Our people believe that Gold is 'Subh'. It while having a fast re-sale value, it has been a liquid asset in hard times.

For majority of Indians investment means gold, realty or savings bank account. And another important reason is the existing dowry system and in my state a girl child means save at least 100 sovereigns of gold. like Esha madam said there is also a sentimental aspect. Gold finds prominence in auspicious occasions. There is a proved relation between demand for gold and festive occasions and gold prices are usually high during those times. I am not in toto against investing in gold. As an investment consider gold bonds , gold etfs, mining funds and at the maximum go for gold coins or bars, but never in the form of ornaments. For fighting inflation commodity derivatives are also a good option. |

Apart from traditional or classical views, what I would like to add is now a day’s gold is considered as an investment. As we can see the share market going up and down, relatively gold prices are stable and has always increased over a period of time. So, it is better to invest in gold as it satisfies your both classical and modern needs. |

Indians always have a high demand of gold for jewellery and investment purposes despite the high market price being an ounce in the international market levels. THis is the reason Indian has a high demand of Gold jwellary. |

A set of people believe that dreams change and hence buying a dream home just increases the maintenance cost whereas renting one is relatively better option. In today's world where the property rates are increasing like nothing else. Which... |
JV needs more dedication and yes sir back stabbing approach kills it all. The end result of a well set JV with values gives more value. |
No we are not.. not right now. We are still in recovery stage and this time I do not think the same mistake will be repeated. Having tough time is one thing and going back to recession is totally different, we cannot mix them. |
