According to me this is a major sign where there is merger or aquisition of the company, more often than not, corporate acquisitions mean that some employees are going to be sent packing due to redundancy. So study the acquiring company's organizational structure. Are other employees there have similar jobs as you? If so, do your best to become friends with them, learn how to perform all of their duties, gauge their weaknesses and make sure you are indispensable for them. |
