To see the same regal and opulence every year is getting a bit boring. I think they should limit themselves to the T20 Cup every two years now!! |

Last time I checked, cricket was about fours, sixes, wickets and catches. Not DLF Maximum, Citi Moment of Success and Karbonn Kamaal Catch and what have you. Marketers can go to any extent to score high on brand recall in their next market research report. But this is pushing it a bit too far. Tweaking the rules of cricket is acceptable, but altering its lexicon is not. |

I completely agree with Yash. This is not Indian Premier League , it has become Industrialist premier League. All are here to make money , to create a brand Visibility and the game of Cricket is getting finished. How come ICC is encouraging the players its surprising .

Where it is heading is all else but cricket. Lots of drama, lots of action, lots of gossiping, lots of experimenting and of course loads of money. Yet it was simply over-exploitation of cricketing skills on which the format is based and loosing on those very skills would mean a loss of the game. Thus if we are ready to see a slow death of what was once known as cricket, this money is of course enough. Yet the efforts to return back to cricket -the sport, will be painful both for players and appreciating public. |

The cramped international calendar and equally tough IPL schedule leaves players with little time to rest. To make matters worse, the players have to now compulsorily attend after-parties in the company of some dishy women and, of course, ubiquitous team owners. It sure makes for mouthwatering gossip and glossy tabloid photos but it's tough on the players who are anyway under constant media glare. The idea of commentators speaking to players on the ground during the course of a match is equally unreasonable. The trouble is, there's way too much money at stake for anyone to dissent. |

Dancing girls are not necessary in IPL. Peoples are coming there for cricket match not for to see dancing girls. |

Thats the strategy of pulling people into stadium. I guess some people will be there who come to stadium to see dancing girls also... ;) :)

Cricket was really a classical game. Every player usually gets a chance to prove with bat, ball or in fielding. In T20/IPL that is lost. Only bat is making everything in the game. People with muscle power (who can hit as much as possible) will win the game. It is very clear from the statistics that most of the time bat will win the game. The classical values of the cricket is going die certainly with IPL. Limited games, it is OK. But playing these many games, I hope next generation cannot taste the original cricket. |

We cannot say that media is favoring any party. BJP or congress media comes out with anything which is good or bad in both the parties. We start thinking too much and try to find clues which can make our perception stronger.. |
this is nothing but an irony of democracy...we have very limited choice to find a lesser devil amongst all .. |
The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) on Friday admitted to goofing up on its 'most wanted' list, that was to be handed over to Pakistan, and has now withdrawn the list from its website. How irresponsible is this?! If they can do this then... |
