Most often, workers are negligent in their work and because of their not being coucious, accidents occur. Hence they become victim of their carelessness at construction site. |

Were they properly Oriented on the site safety standards and policies before they went to work inside the work site..?

Develop safety culture among the workers of a site is the topmost challenge. Systematic work procedures. Make safety everyone's responsibilities - don't depend on others. Good housekeeping. Seperate walkways and vehicle ways. Proper signages and safety notice boards and display - develop safety awareness Do daily inspection Identify hazards and take sufficient control measures. Inspect tools and equipments as per schedule. Supervision, Information, Training. Ensure all are wearing personnal protective equipments.

In construction industries there are several way to occur of an accident . It causes either from employer's side or Employee Side. The necessary points are 1. Lack of Safety awarness. 2. Non-use of Safety methodology. 3. Lacks of Safety material 4. Lack of Safety knowledge.

Overhead and underground electrical lines are dangerous to construction workers. Electrical equipment should be frequently inspected. Energized electrical circuits in buildings pose problems that can be solved by attaching grounds, turning off power or using lock out/tag out systems that allow a worker to lock an electrical source while working on electrical equipment, preventing another person from inadvertently energizing circuits while work is being done. |
