Relationship between Subordinate-Boss should be the same as between Earth & Sun; to keep going Earth maintains safe distance so as not to go too near to get burnt and not to far to get frozen.

Its a fallacious question! Obsessive - means obsessive to work, obsessive to personal relationship? Boss - gender not mentioned? If the subordinate is feminine gender and the boss is masculine gender then the subordinate should take all precautions to avoid him before he makes any excesses leading to sexual harassment. Otherwise, maintain composure and focus on work and work alone!
