Quite right, in the presence of so many professionals it is very important that your knowledge and point of view flows through various departments very swiftly and at the same time you gain extra knowledge which makes you even more smarter then before.
Yes, Inter-disciplinary sharing of knowledge, finding solutions to make our own designs work & the absolute happiness of Creativity!
I agree with you nithin the area of specialization requires to fulfill all domains of construction right from concepts to commissioning/handing over.Each project is having some unique features to learn however experienced in this field of construction.Sharing Knowledge with all service providers is much more useful.

Construction projects however small or big, after completion, give immense feeling of fulfilment in the minds of all the persons involved. Right from the unskilled labourers to the owner, everyone looks back at the completed project with the filling of ' this is my work'. The monument, unlike other projects, stands on the mother earth for at least a century to be proud of. The physical benefits and the contribution to the society in the end from the construction projects are worth of the sweat you spend during construction. The efforts, inputs in the process become the objects of pride for all the members of the team. The wide spectrum of experience gained through the process of construction activities is unique in nature and can not be taught in any management school. |

After completion of project it is always inspire me that "this is my work". Either i involved in as a planner / designer or as a site engineer.
Yes.. this makes me always attracted towards the construction field. The satisfaction that we get even after so many years on watching the building and seeing those satisfied occupants can't be described in simple words. Unlike other projects, we build structures for decades and centuries..

I feel extremely happy with the thought that by going to my family late, daily, in night I have facilitated a few other fathers to reach home safely in time by making a good road. |

Opportunities are excellent but still not many women work in the construction industry.There is so much to learn. It's an Ocean.....This industry has helped me in every stage of life, though the long work-hours may make it difficult for me but no regrets. What motivate me is - Construction projects are challenging & difficult task but still we are committed to build any Infrastructure & make life easier for others. It's really great to know from others on what they feel......

Every Project gives something new to learn as we get several different activities and varity. This enables creative ideas in every persons mind, which on implimentation gives satisfaction.A project is like your baby on completion gives you relief and self satisfafaction .Gaining knowledge etc.some works carried out by us are monuments to remember.Ihave done a typical work of constructing a 20ft high gate in stone with carving over stone and no masonar involved,such things are achivements for life time. |

MANY CONSULTATION INDUSTRIES ARE OFFERING FOR BRIDGE CONSULTANCY,SINCE THEY ARE LESS IN NUMBERS AND MORE DEMAND AND OF MY SELF SATISFACTION.
I like the civil engineering project where I get self satisfaction,I was in road,building and bridge construction ,but I got maximum satisfaction in BRIDGES ,though roads I constructed are more than 5000 ln no's,bridges about 10 in no's and building in two districts.

I love construction projects mainly because of the time bound challenges it throws in coordinating various aspects in construction. I always use construction projects as example to my team, especially when it comes to coordination. Whereas in software porjects, that much of coordination is required, every one can come do their part of job and go. |

After all, we execute the projects for revenue. if any developer or builder or company, wants to invest in the projects, that is for the profit. Whether it may be a real estate project or Infrastructure development project, If there is no demand in the market, or appreciation from the buyers/ stakeholders, there will be no inspiration to take part in any project. |
