Though there are many windows of opportunities still marketers face hurdles this IPL and World Cup. Many are uncertain of these investments they will do in these events.

Marketers want more by spending less.... companies are trying to pull out max by investing less in the coming events. But there are certain things which nobody can avoid.... sponsorships are costly and is expected to rise more. Many companies are thinking twice before making an investment.........

I think getting media slots on Set max and Ten Sports would be a costly affair as the Ad slot costs would be skyrocketing.

Competition for Attention

With fans paying attention to the matches, it would be even more tough to compete for their attention. They may not even want to watch any ads during the games and may consider these ads coming at that time as a nuisance or distraction.

The ultimate aim of the marketers is to grab as many eyeballs as possible..just getting the slot isn't enough..If top teams exit competition early could lead to a major setback for them..
