This is one day where all the employees are gathered under one roog. The CHMN addresses the meeting felicitating the employees for the success and then there is a huge gala!! Dinner & drinks on the house with a lot of fun, masti, songs and dances all done and organised by the employees. Of course there is a cash payout as well at the end of the year for the top brass and some key senior players!! |

A big party is done with congratulations to all the employees for success of the company and lot od fun and feast. I keep myself away from drinks :)

I beleive that companys should have a special day for their customers like a "customer appreciation day". At that day the customers should be invited by sending a thanking letter and should be asked to join the get-together conducted by the company. So the customer feel happy and have good opinion on the company. |

The customer appreciation day is a good idea,which can be coincided with founder's day or company's anniversary day by rewarding to the loyal customers and product highlight to the prospective customers.I opine TISCO a role model company,where the the product,the distributor the sub distributors,stockists,dealers are rewarded by
cash discounts,bonuses and finally the stake holders and the employees,all are kept happy by their business ethics and policies pursued by them.
Different companies have shown different ways to show appreciations. One used to have an annual party affair at a 5-star Poolside where key accounts could also get their families. This used to be a annually awaited occassino as it provided a networking opportunity for many clients.
Another used to give souveniers (to Japanese customers), special ones which could be good leather wallets with company logo, bags, diaries, marble icons, high end variety teas packed in premium labelled wood packages, trips to Taj or Ajanta / Ellora for long term high value clients, Golf day for a high ranking VP or Pres from a Japanese customer and accompanied teams.
A Western client could get tickets to visit the Taj with family as most US residents have a desire to see the Taj whenever India comes to mind.
Dinner invites with the occassional drink binges for very close accounts where personal relationships have also built up is a perk with escort driver thrown in. Now there could be free tickets or passes for some key event.
ERP vendors throw exclusive invites at 5-stars for key sorties where an international whiz would talk of a new domain, the key customer gets to meet the speaker, make exchange at an exclusive networking dinner with cocktails thrown in.

A day is fixed in every week and on that day the customer will be awarded the free gift coupans and gift voucher,so by this the customers are happy and we willl have more footfall in our company showroom. i ahve taken this idea from Malls like Bigbazzar and reliance mart.The discount stores halp a lot in this field. |

There are several ways of Appreciating the Customer.... 1. Mighe be giving gifts dat we normally found in Diwali and New Year Occassion... 2. Another way mite be giving Discounts on repeat orders (applicable to Business with Volume Sales e.g FMCGs) 3. Might be giving free samples & Complementary items.... this help to build strong relationship with customer.. 4. Inviting them to the Conferences/Seminars ........ etc etc

There is a given value to any service or product, as per market conditions. This value needs to be communicated. Very often, in the service industry, price is fixed on analysis of customers wallet and the value is over rated. By creating value awareness one retains the customer and appreciation may be shown by further discounts on rate, for longer retainership. Truth sells better! |
