Basically, it is said that Visual Merchandising is used to Stimulate the Senses of the Customer. Rite from Vision(Hot Spots, Displays etc), Touch(Texture etc), Audibility(Max. Attention Grabber), Smell (Aroma) & Taste also.

yes that is true, it can attract traffic into the stores and generate inquiries and enhance brand image, and all that boosts sales.

VM of a store comprises not only of window display but how are the stocks displayed on racks, color wise display of products, cleanliness, light effcts, placement and height of gondolas, quantity and quality of stocks and balance area allocation of various categories, relavant music, neat and spacious walk path, clear and neat department signs, branding. Colors/ theme used in the window display and how you have coordinated the same look / story in the store, etc. |
