Every job has its own responsibilities. But visual mechandising job has somewhat unique features of responsibilities to handle. What do think are the factors or responsibilities of a visual merchandising job? Please share your ideas.

As creativity is important to get the stare of public, there should be proper development in this field and should be responsible to take up all the brand projects put forward and execute it perfectly.

This is the main responsibility i think.  Every brand has its own standards and should be visualised according to the standards and the message it tends to convey. It should convey the proper message and should be understood by all.

Good visual merchandising not only saves space but also increases the amount of sales without extra investment in mapower or stock. It not only increases the impulse purchases but also generates the volume as customer gets an attractive idea and mesage from the merchandising. We are currently using and experimenting it in our supermarket.

always good visual merchandising helps d retailer ......it plays a vital role to increase  sales volume. its also attract d window shopper nd also increase the impulse purchasing also. generally lifestyle retailer does't believe in expensive marketing.....as other sectors companies do.......because ads in television nd other cmedium is too expensive .......dats why retailer rely on good V.M....in a limited sq ft area vm communicate seach nd everything, its increse d brand image, sales, customer attention , footfalls, conversion rate nd etc......

If its a good merchandising then its a sales call itself & sometimes if consumer is aware of the product & sees good merchandising then the chances of the purchase is much higher
