Make sure your clothes have been pressed, if you haven't touched an iron, do so, if you don't have an iron, bring a couple of outfits to a dry cleaners and have them press your clothes for you. Interviews aren't the time to have wrinkled clothes, and be too casual. Dress professionally, don't wear jeans, tank tops, stained clothing, or anything that has neon in it. You want to look like you fit in; you don't want to look like you don't belong. |

One has to be presentable at an interview. Half the game is won if you are properly dressed and presentable because that creates an impression on the interviewer.
i agree shahshi (if you don't mind the abbreviated address) - i wish you had also added "polished" shoes - in this age this is another forgotton activity.

During the interview the appraisal process and on what elements an employee will be rate may not be discussed, because entry and exit of an employee depends on his/her performance ratings. |

The looks matter a bit but how you talk has to be good because if the looks are good but on talk front you are bad you will never selected

Very often freshers and sometimes even (2-3 yrs)experienced people try to make a better representation of themselves by trying to follow/ imitate/ copy the actions (w.r.t. attitude, personality, behavior) he/she likes/adores of somebody; thus creating a misrepresentation of self. In this process the interviewee also feels nervous and insecure of the environment leading to cause unwanted blunders in the interview. |

let your values and attitude be reflected in what you communicate being yourself and what you stand for with humility while being confident of your strengths and what you can deliver in terms of performance through your competencies in terms of knowledge and skills including softskills like leadership qualities putting your best foot forward with all the confidence you can muster. a bit of nervousness is fair enough as all get nervous under the stress of the interview and the uncertainity of the outcome for the coveted job where each one stands a chance of elimination on some ground not matching the metrics of the given organisation - may be you fit better somewhere else. maintain a learning attitude during the interview discussion taking home something for yourself to retain further and introspect upon, while not remaining submissive and adding value to the discussion without overdoing or outsmarting the interviewers. hope this puts things in an overall perspective.

1. First be clear about the concept of your presentation. 2. Prepare your part well and design a rough speech so that you are not at loss of words when you speak. 3. Prepare a bit more than you intend to speak , because possibility of forgetting... |
Yes Sir this is the best way. We cannot expect someone to trust us as long as we are not transparent. |
I am neutral just to comment I am here.. It does not mean I am on this side.. :) A company stands tall with the good balance between all the sources not alone HR or sales.. We can't compare them..Can we.. One can't go long without another.. |
