Competition is ever increasing and every has to keep themselves updated with the changing times. And when it comes to technology it is progressing like a wild fire, this makes the job of a system administartor more dynamic. Though he not a software developer but he has to get himself accustomed to the new technology to solve the system problems.

He should be best at tracking the problems because problem identified is half solved. So if he is good at it, this trait can be his core competency.

Yes, bcz if he knows that what's the issue then he can easily resolve the proble, also need to update himself regulary as technology is improved day by day
