With so many employees per organisation things have changed drastically and it become imperative that more and more automation is resorted to, to avoid manual errors and goof ups by HR.  This is very common where in any organisation manual efforts are resorted to.

ideally all HR related stuff should be at the click of a button.

Yes, this is one of the best usages of the technology, we can say that through jobportals and other social networking sites Recruitments has been so simple, and now adays most of the Recruitmenis done with the help of technoloy..... for example we can see the use of video resumes and SMS services .....

Time keeping

It is a new line of time and data terminals that run on Ethernet networks, thus taking advantage of the current network.  It supports a variety of input devices including bar code wands, laser scanners, proximity readers, etc.

In addition to traditional time punches, the terminals can be used by employees to review time information, work schedules, or receive specific messages from their supervisor.

The latest stuff on the HR front is the IDASM. It allows composite indexing, rating and scoring of data. It also allows profile simulation based on non-linear techniques to identify if the candidate is suitable for a job.
