It has been noticed that the products of excellent and unmatched quality are often priced much much higher than the similar products of low quality by rivals. The reason is obvious, the production cost of the products having excellent quality is much more higher than the cheaply priced alternatives available in the market. Take example of a safety product which is used in most of the industries to protect its material asset, employees etc. In India, most of the industrialists are forced to make safety arrangements in their industries by the state laws and to fulfill this requirement they usually opt for low cost products that are barely sufficient to provide safety to their industries. Every year accidents in Indian industries are increasing like anything and despite huge material and human losses hardly any industrialist has understood the importance of good quality safety products. In such a scenario, selling a safety product of outstanding quality that provides safety in a real sense, the price of which is very high than what other competitors have to offer is a real tough task. What do you think, how we can sell these kinds of products? Probably finding a niche market for such products where the need for real safety is felt by the clients and to educate clients belonging to mass market about the importance of safety could be an idea to sale such products. |
