respect to the woman and try to realize their value. I should not use the term
but for the sake of argument woman is 'priceless' because there is no

For the matter of discussion, men/women are much like commodity & traded as well. Many men/women use it and dump it. Even after prolonged relationships there are people who dump woman at pre-determined cost. Courts also decides a cost of women (for survival) in many divorce cases. Companies hire people for work at given salary/wages and dump them when no work to assign.

Media, media and media is playing havoc with our daily life. Do not watch the "IDIOT BOX" or any newspaper for example Times of India. I will tell you why, ' TOI Bangalore Edition, eight people were killed by suspected National Democratic Front of Bodoland in Assam but, the headline is Chiranjeevi's daughter was harassed by her in laws for dowry. this is a newspaper we read and absorb it in our everyday life...:D yellow journalism...to be precise....

I dont know why us the viewers promote this kind of publicity.Once i have seen a cement advertisement having a lady on beach in bikini!!!What a pity that a brand need a lady rather than product..

It is not about the degrading the status of woman...but it is how the Markting is done....The woman are only capable of attracting the viewers...Man 2 Man or woman 2 woman is not seen here...yes jealousy plays a vital role......But yes some times there is no need of woman in advertisements but thinking of marketing people is quite different and they will involve woman in that and little of bit expression makes that advertisement to be glitter...and the purpose is solved...As Mr. sudershan said the woman in the advertising is also liking that...and some body say for money they are forced to do it no...then what about heroins ....

whats wrong in a women, child or kid modelling for a product. It is only to attract the attention of the consumer. For a moment forget your gender and look at the other side wherein, "would you buy a product which is just plainly designed with colours and without images" ? No !
As long as the woman or any other person is not depicted in a wrong or immoral way, there is nothing wrong in doing the same.

Well idea behind showing women on front page depends upon few things first of all the nature of product and for whom (men or women) it is, theme of advertisement, and finally if product can be used by both men and women. Then women will attract the women consumer group as well as it will also make product look glamourus to male user group. Ex- bike advertisement, wheel advertisement( male- salman khan)
male deodrants, etc all have girls so it is clear that opposite gender attract consumers

@ K.S- Do you mean women are themselves responsible for their fate or they dehumanization. Are they selling their modesty in the hands of a company for their livelihood.
I do not want to argue but discuss and come some fruitful conclusion. Even I do not want to hurt anybody.

Those communication methods are just to exploit the sexuality without any relevance. For example selling a mobile handset with a sexy women image what's the necessity. Do we use handsets to enhance our sexual association?

I agree with Amrita, I will search a new one because past is dead, if one remains on thinking and thinking only it can contaminate you and mind both which will left you hopeless like a pessimist. Be optimistic it can be a turning point in your life. |
Very sad news, if this happens it can be demotivating factor for most of the people/youth. Though many can cope but it can leave a very bad effect on the minds of most of the employees. |
