India can produce solar energy,wind energy, and hydroelectricity for which resources are available in plenty.
As such i support this idea.
There are many new ideas residing around in the country, states, cites, just they need exposure and initial ignition to get started... most of them can be started easily from needy areas as those ppl there can be made understand more easily...
india has a lot natural sources in comparision of other countries so this country give better energy resources without affecting our climate.

in near future the renewable sources of energy will be under a threat of extinction, so they would result in energy price hike, making all the other commodities that need electric power or petroleum cheaper but still no one will buy it. So search for alternative sources of energy is very necessary although the non renewable resources are not that efficient but they provide us energy without any fuel. |

renewable energies are regenerative, hence they r called so... they never end... never extinct...

With the increasing numbers in population the traditional sources of energy i.e hydro, have become very expensive and socially disruptive, it therefore means that renewable energy will incrementally be relied upon as we go forward. Some of the renewable sources are affordable at family/micro level, this is where the future lies given the current economic climate. |

The future for renewable energy in India is positive. But we need to sell it better. Renewable energy have for too long been seen as the preserve of the geek or the rural poor. It needs a change of image. If we do this, we will crack not only the domestic market, but make ourselves a powerhouse in exporting renewable products, technology and know-how directly. |

Most of the public dont know which products are energy efficient, some even consider energy efficient tags on products are business gimmicks . a good way to make people aware of energy efficient products is by making ads which cleary explain their benefits and money saving ability in the long run. Ad initiative similar to "walk n talk" by IDEA can have huge appeal . |

We cannot live with power cuts though there is a lot we need to do. Nuclear power is the answer and till when we do not develop an alternative to this we just cannot help it. |
