Identifying top talent and retaining the talent with your organisations are going to differentiate the good from the mediocre.  As today hiring is in full swing with big players dominating the scene with lots of jobs to fill in their organization, hence Identifying these top talent and retaining  them will be the biggest challenge in 2011.

The emphasis of the market has changed post 2008 sub-prime crisis from "Customer First" to "Employee First".

Perhaps, this is the biggest challenge, on which all your performance depends, may it be finance, sales, production, Planning etc. Even for proper planning and execution also good people are required. But it is very tricky and many HR talents have gone wild on that !!! No remedy in sight !!

Retaining top talent is the most important factor as the business and economy is getting back on the recovery path. If the resources are not there, the opportunity cannot be capitalized. Hence, retention is an important factor.... Thanks for the referral, Namrata.....

In business groth money is not only important factor with money- Telency,hard work,Team spirit, ethics,after all National intigration & patrotism also required oter wise every were u will see 2-G Raja,Games- kalmadi,Adarsh type scams. When it about money that seems only scams.

Now a days pricing plays the dominant role and it is a buyer's market. How to convert the challenges into results becomes a struggle for organizations.The business sustainability becomes the great challenge in the business.

If you know the Indian system and how to exploit it, there is no challenges ahead as long as the party lasts. Survival needs of citizen will prolong this agony for long, even Uganda survives when countries like US is in some sort of turmoil. Challenges are for those who consider values that sustain collective consciousness, not for those who don't care about how a nation is concieved and should be an example for other nations. May be it is the lack of dexterity or our poor past that creates such mindset which also cannot be critcal of. As long as 'truth' is an elusive phenomenon one has to accept all this. Challenges at non 'scalable science' is no challenge, it is day light robbery only thing is one cannot establish the perpetuator. Thanks Nattereja for posting this to me.

Business environment is highly competitive and also very unstable. Certain amount of growth has already taken place, to sustain the growth in highly competitive and unstable market is a major task. An to grow on the already growing market is the second issue.

Since tenures of CEOs and other managers are decided by the stock markets the path to shortest profit is taken by many organizations ~ which many times not in tune with the long term profit. The Sort term is also characterized by cutting corners and getting rich fast phenomenon.I would like to post this phenomenon of everybody wants to be somebody like Mark or Facebook. Is it possible to have such growth in any industry or organizations? You will have such opportunity once in a century. Not everyone organization can have such valuations.

The dawn of new year 2011 is going to carry forward the true colour of our India posited with trivial challenges in all spectrum of activities. We are losing sheen in every sphere of activities as we are witness to ugly unfolding of activities from politics, bureaucracy, media and the worst of all, our judiciary too! A common man has to understand that his vote is so precious and he should exercise utmost caution before voting. Investors would be doubly careful in investing their funds in a country where the scams of abominable nature is unfolding in an era when the world is praising our prudence in tackling the recessionary trend!

Well talneted person will have some ambitions. Whatever may be job sstisfaction, higher pay, working atmoshphere. So todays context one has to take into coniseration all and HRD as important role in this task. it is like if your through peanuts you get monkwys! Retaining best talent helps that one does not loose important customers too and bussiness growth.
